Everbest Client Intro
Everbest is a dynamic and design savvy duo who run a contemporary real estate business, in the heart of Newcastle. Originally operating from upstairs of the newly acquired space, once this old barber shop became available they wanted to expand and occupy the street level.
Everbest Scope/Client Brief
With fierce competition in the real estate business sector, it was important to our clients to really stand out from the norm. These dynamic entrepreneurs wanted a fun but professional space that would evoke the feeling of a friendly communal space customers could casually pop into. The prime street side location was perfect for this – and the huge picture window would be ideal to showcasing not just the available properties but also their own gorgeous space.
The Property Challenges
The newly aquired space was small and needed to cater for a growing team! Decodence needed to carefully craft enough space to fit the full team in a friendly and casual open plan setting. Additionally the space needed to offer an area for customers to sit and be confortable at before being seen by a member of staff. The space is also warm due to the direct sunlight so we needed clever UV film protection to safeguard it from overheating!
Our Interior Design Solution
Well, we’ve never stepped into a real estate office quite like this! It certainly breaks away from the boring norm of beige walls and tatty old carpet – and if anyone calls another area map wall mural a cool design feature they need to seriously think again!
Our feature wall is a beautiful fresh statement that brings interest and texture to the space creating the perfect backdrop for the casual waiting area. The acoustic wall panels create a contemporary and professional feel but also help to dampen the noise. The timber flooring helps to expand the floor space and we are especially pleased with how the bank of desks have worked out creating enough space for the team to effectively co-work here.
