This long-standing client of ours runs a thriving family business known for its gelato.  As the business grew so did its production needs, and it was time to build a new factory nearby.  Now, we can do a lot of things, but gelato production line design is not our forte we will admit – however, these premises were to do double duty by also functioning as the head office and a client marketing suite. We were invited to design an office, an open plan working space, a meeting area for staff and client meetings alike and an open plan kitchenette and an accessible toilet.  It’s a fun filed, stylish and professional space finished with slightly rustic touches such as the timber beams and dark floor planks. The concrete effect paint and strawberry sorbet striped carpet inset into the timber floor make the space trendy, while the randomly hung wooden pendants create a light-hearted talking point.
